Forgot to post this before the New Year but what a way to start off 2026 with a little refurbished job. Ok it wasn’t little it actually took me weeks to finish 🤦♀️ I couldn’t get good pictures as the weather was not on my side 🌧️☔️ swipe to end to see before ☺️

As a small business you got to do all the roles and branding / marketing is one we’re getting used to. We’ve had a few logo options over the years but just didn’t feel like it went with our vision of what we wanted Manchester Upcycle to look like. We’ve finally found a brand design we like so without further ado we’d like to introduce you to our new logo 🥳🙌🥳

✨It’s been a while since a little introduction post ✨
We’re Steph & Matt who started Manchester Upcycle because we enjoy upcyling & fixing furniture! 🔨🖌️ It all started in our little flat in 2021 but in 2023 we moved to our new workshop with lots more space and it was nice to not have to clean dust constantly in our house 😮💨😄 At the moment this is a second job / hobby for us but who knows, maybe in the future it’ll be full time with a little shop 🤞 It’s super hard online to be seen as a small business that doesn’t put money into boosted ads or marketing + we’re camera shy 🫣😁 (please don’t make us do a viral dance) 😂😂 so any love you give us is really appreciated 💕 Now let’s make some funky furniture 🥳
Let’s talk about the upcycle fear, because for me it’s so real. The process of doing an upcycle is great but as an upcycle business you have to think about what people will want in their homes. At some part of this process of upcyling I got so stressed about it that I stopped doing the piece. But I’m going to focus on loving the upcycle and just having fun with it ☺️ so let’s get upcyling 🥳

Noooooo we forgot to take before pictures and video this upcycle 😭 This stunning bench was a rusty broken mess that was ready for the bin! With a good clean, fresh spray paint in gorgeous Midnight Blue shade and new wooden slats it’s looking lovely! Our dog Giorgio approves as well 🥰
