Evolved Pieces

Ooh I've been quiet. Here's a few I've been working on.

Nothing plain about this flip! First time using antebellum blue, chalk white and a mix of the 2, layered and sanded down to show all colour. Stencil and edging in polyvine gold. First time using decoupage. Finished with Annie sloan white wax and polyvine varnish. Bee handles from Knobbles and Bobbles Ltd.

When you want to keep a dresser you've flipped but it doesn't match anything so you revamp your whole kitchen to match. Bonus is it only cost about £80 and alot of hard work but so worth it. Painted ceiling, walls, woodwork and cupboards. Removed the black from the tiles and repainted in cotton white. Lights, handles and bin sprayed in copper and black. Shelves which had been there since I moved in were sanded and given a walnut varnish to match dresser.

Products: BnQ good home for walls, woodwork and cupboards. V3 tile paint. Polyvine varnish in dead flatt matt.
Upcycled furniture

Before and after. Lightly sanded, 2 coats of primer, urban grey inside, 2 coats of flatt matt black and finished with 2 coats of wax, buffed to a high shine. Handles hand painted in gold for a pop of colour.

Hand painted in flat matt black (apart from the stencil) Finished in Annie sloan wax and polyvine varnish for extra durability. Finishing touches in gold totally unique to the owner. The mantel and fireplace painted the same but with a handpainted gold effect on the back piece bringing the whole set together.
