Opening Day 2 of the conference usually looks like this in front of thousands ...
Today it’s from my living room - to thousands we can’t see! Staying apart so we can be together 👐🏻
No hair and make up
No green room
No hugs or good lucks
No feedback , smiles and friendly faces on the front row or sat on the floor ...
But IM STILL SO EXCITED...

2012 - my life 😔
Leave my house in the dark at 6am for gym if I had time or straight to work 😖 Hoping kids get to nursery / school. I feel guilty.
Drive hundreds of miles to office - constantly wondering how the kids are 😢
Arrive late as motorways awful - despite 5 hours driving...feel guilty
Endure a meeting trying to focus on being professional woman not a mum - spend most of the time worrying about getting home on time for the kids. 😶 feel guilty
Leave early to hopefully be home by 6... feel guilty
Stress out on motorway 🛣 will I get home on tine???
Race into nursery / school / childcare at the last minute to collect my kids... always the last kids there. So guilty.
Pick up tired cranky kids. It’s 6pm if I’m lucky and this is the first time I’ve seen them since last night at bedtime. They’ve been there since 7am when their dad dropped them off. Poor things. I feel guilty.
Home ... house still a mess from the morning shuffle to get out. I feel stressed and guilty.
I’m tired. kids are tired.
We all need food.
Mike still at work. Working late cause he did the morning drop off.
Cook tea. Hoping there’s something in the cupboards cause there was no time to shop. Feel guilty.
Bath 🛀 my babies, try and spend some time with them but they are really too tired and need bed.
I feel guilty.
Put them to bed.
It’s 7:30pm and I feel like s**t.
2013 - made some changes - said yes to Juice Plus - worked it around my kids - felt GOOD
2019 relocated as a family to Ireland without needing to find work - my life 😀
2020 - my life - Wake up whenever I’ve had enough sleep or Shay comes in - feel good
Check my Facebook quickly while he goes to bathroom - feel excited for the day
Have a relaxed morning in my dressing gown - Help the kids get ready for school, have to wake my pre teen but she has tons of time so zero stress - feels Soooooo good.
By 9:30 it’s quiet, breakfast stuff tidied away and I have a peaceful coffee with my hubby and chat about the day ahead. Walk the dog 🐶. Feels good.
