I was asked by to make them a trophy for their 2026 season. They gave me free rein on the design and I wanted it to have clear links to the city of Manchester.

The Manchester bee is a symbol of the city’s hard work ethic, industriousness, and unity, originating from the Industrial Revolution when Manchester was a “hive of activity” so it was only right that the trophy should feature this iconic symbol

Who will have their name featured on this beautiful trophy by the end of the 2026 season?

I’ve had a very busy year with my full time property job so I haven’t had time to post much on here unfortunately. Thankfully I’ve found a bit of time over the last few weeks to get out in the workshop and here are some recent projects I’ve finished

Some recent table top designs I’ve been working on. I really love the different effects that can be created by emphasising the natural wood grain in different directions combined with different coloured wood and shadow lines

Taking inspiration from a piece of wall art we finished earlier this year we’ve just completed this console table with matching pull out side tables in the same design.
