Another fantastic bathroom transformation!

Sometimes, it’s the clever little changes that make all the difference!

For this project, we removed the existing bath and repositioned it to create the perfect amount of headroom for a shower screen and shower, making the space far more practical without losing any of its original charm.

We lifted the original floorboards, altered the waste pipework and carefully relaid the boards, preserving the character and feel of the room.

The new rustic-effect shower panels, complete with a built-in niche, complement the existing features beautifully. Finished with stunning brushed nickel brassware, the whole space has a lovely warmth and character that ties everything together.

The aim was to create something that felt as though it had always been part of the room, rather than something simply added on — and we think the result speaks for itself!

The best part? Our customer is absolutely delighted with the finished product, which is what it’s all about!

Another fantastic result, another happy customer, and another job we’re incredibly proud!

Well done, team — on to the next one!

🚿 PROJECT UPDATE | Sleek, Minimalist & Full of Clever Details! 🔨

Another update from one of our current bathroom projects, and this one is all about making the most of every inch of space while keeping the overall look clean, sleek and minimalist. 👌

Jamie and Adam are working hard to bring this design to life, with plenty of clever details being built into the room to ensure everything has its place without compromising on the finished look.

✨ Some of the features we're incorporating:

🔹 Concealed pipework for a clean, uncluttered finish.
🔹 Recessed mirrored cabinets to maximise storage without taking up valuable space.
🔹 Built-in niches to provide practical storage exactly where it's needed.
🔹 Flush, tiled access panels that blend seamlessly into the surrounding finishes.
🔹 A low-level built-in seat, making clever use of the available space while adding another practical feature to the room.

It's these little details that make such a difference. By thinking carefully about the layout, storage and hidden services, we can create a bathroom that feels spacious, flows beautifully and has that high-end, minimalist finish we're aiming for.

We're still in the thick of the project, but it's already looking fantastic. We can't wait to see this one completed and share the final transformation with you!

Another Stunning Bathroom Transformation by Goodwins!

Wow! What a difference!

This bathroom has been completely stripped back and transformed into an elegant, contemporary space that feels open, bright and beautifully balanced.
Fully tiled in natural, neutral tones, the design creates a timeless finish, while the fluted glass shower screen adds a touch of sophistication and character. The large mirror reflects the light beautifully, enhancing the sense of space and creating a wonderfully airy feel. Every detail has been carefully considered to achieve a bathroom that is both practical and luxurious.

A huge thank you to the team for bringing this project to life: Jamie and Adam for the fitting, Damo and his team for the electrical work, Glenn for the plastering, and Mary for designing the bathroom and managing the project.

Fantastic work by everyone involved! Another beautiful transformation we're proud to share with you.

A Kitchen Full of Character!

We absolutely love this very different, incredibly interesting kitchen concept — a perfect example of how thinking outside the box can create something truly unique.

Our customer wanted a natural, industrial feel, so we created worktops from scaffold boards, carefully joined, sanded and oiled to bring out the beautiful natural grain. The kitchen carcasses and doors were all handmade from plywood, then oiled to seal them while retaining that gorgeous natural wood appearance.

And because our customer loves colour, we were able to reuse reclaimed hand-painted tiles as an upstand and continue them around the sink area — adding bags of personality and colour to the room.

With the kitchen being relatively small and having limited worktop and storage space, we designed and built a large movable island on wheels. It can be moved around to suit whatever you're doing, locked securely into position when needed, and even used as a fantastic space to sit and enjoy meals.

The light vinyl click flooring helps open up the room, while the exposed electrical sockets and exposed trunking were deliberately chosen to create that industrial look. Combined with the beautiful red brick fireplace, it creates a kitchen with a truly individual character.

But we didn't stop there! We also created additional storage beneath the stairs, incorporating space for the fuse board, shoe storage near the front door, and further storage with reclaimed scaffold planks used as worktops.

What a transformation!

A kitchen that's practical, full of personality and completely individual to our customer.

Our customer is absolutely delighted — and we absolutely adore this concept!

Well done to everyone involved in bringing such a fantastic idea to life.

What a fantastic transformation!

This is certainly a very different and completely unique bathroom — and we absolutely love it!

The original bathroom was extremely small, with a cramped shower, basin and WC, so the challenge was to completely rethink the space and make every inch work.

We stripped the room back, removed the existing floor, rerouted the pipework and added new studwork. This allowed us to install a built-in shower seat and a much roomier wide offset quadrant shower. It also created more space above the seat and enabled the furniture to run right up to the shower, making full use of every inch. Concealing and tiling in the cistern helps it blend seamlessly into the room while minimising shadows.

To reflect our customer's taste and love of colour, we used reclaimed hand-painted tiles for a striking splashback that adds colour, personality and character. We also scaffold boards, creating a fantastic worktop and a matching top to the cistern unit, providing additional storage.

The bespoke handmade plywood basin unit, hand-painted in Little Greene paint, adds another layer of individuality, finished beautifully with a gorgeous hand-painted basin and tall basin mixer.

The light wood-effect flooring completes the look, helping to keep the room feeling bright while adding a lovely natural warmth that works perfectly with the timber and reclaimed materials.

From a cramped and difficult space to a bathroom that is practical, colourful, natural and completely individual.

What a transformation!

Our customer wanted something different — and we think they certainly got it!
