Good morning All

Here is a top tip for you, when putting the garden to bed for the winter.
DON'T DEEP DIG IT OVER
I am sure that will be music to some people's ears.
Worms and beneficial microbes have been busy all summer looking after the soil, digging will destroy the environment they have created
Instead cover the ground with organic matter, compost or well rotted manure. This will allow the nutrients they contain to leach into the soil over the winter, worms will also transfer that material deeper into the soil.
Cover all of this in a mulch to stop heavy rain washing it away and your flowers will thank you in the Spring.
Bags of manure available at the garden centre 😀 at just £6 each.
