Good Wood Trees and Landscapes

This was a big project i was involved in with a contractor for housing association. Removal of around 60 large conifers that had become too big and some becoming unsafe. The decision was made to remove them for ease of future works. A stump grinder was brought in to finish it all.

This was a job for a friend who had an old roof leaking in his utility room. Before redecorating went ahead we opted to remove all the old roof and start again with fresh timber and osb boards finished with Epdm rubber roof.

Had a great team on this to help remove the 2 birch that were becoming a nuisance for the shared garden for the elderly neighbours. We also took control of the laurel and bramble hedge on the right. It opened it up for them a lot better and made the maintenance easier for them.

I got subbed in on this job to remove a conifer hedge that was looking old and dead in areas also coming over the driveway too much. The stumps were to be removed so I suggested the machine to aid with this. It speeded up the job, all removed safely with no damage to the wall and no mess on the stones in the driveway.

My customer was finding it hard trying to keep on top of the raised beds her late husband used to do and asked to keep them but make them easier to maintain.
We de weeded, levelled them off to apply a membrane and top of with some beautiful stone and the odd slab for the pot plants or ornaments.

A few of the regulars I do through the year. Avoiding nesting season the best I can but full inspections are done prior to any work taken place during active season.
Regular maintenance creates nice tight hedge and crisp lines.

This was a removal of an alder that self seeded in a tight flower boarder and had been allowed to grow but was just about out growing the space it had and about to become a problem for the stone walls around it so sadly had to go.
Dismantled safely and all chipped to use on their boarders and logs disc ready for splitting on site.

This one was a beautiful spot to work in the nice winters mornings with a view. 🌅 🌉
It was installed to create a separate courtyard area for the annexe. Post and rail to match previous fencing around the property and some gates made on site, also 2x 5 bar wooden gates hung and swinging.

Install of 6ft feather board fence.

It’s been a while since any recent work these are a few fence repairs and installs Ive done.

Changing some old rotten rope balustrade to some nice new contemporary fencing on the terrace.

Something abit different today on flail n excavator some well needed bramble bashing.
