Wow!
What a fantastic day at Erme Valley Riding For The Disabled Ltd who kindly hosted the joint fundraiser, 12 hour marathon static bike versus mechanical horse ride. Huge thanks to all who came and participated, those who came along to cheer us on , brought food and those who have donated to the charities.
Thank you to Peggy and Sophie for agreeing to the mad idea and for their help. To Sarah for the loan of the bike and to Serpells and The Bike Cellar for their generous prizes for the competition. Winners will be announced as soon as possible. The link for donations will stay live until this coming Friday so still time to donate if you’re able.

We’re very excited to finally share our 12 Hour Horse & Bike Challenge! 🐴🚴💛
On Saturday 17th October, from 8am–8pm, Erme Valley RDA and South Devon West Pony Club will be joining forces for an amazing 12-hour challenge — keeping a mechanical horse and a static exercise bike moving for the full 12 hours!
Our riders, young people and volunteers will be taking turns throughout the day, all working together to see just how far we can travel.
💛 All money raised will be split equally between Erme Valley RDA and South Devon West Pony Club.
We would absolutely love your support. You can sponsor our riders and cyclists through our JustGiving page here:

There will also be Guess the Distance competitions for both the horse and the bike, with some brilliant prizes for the closest guesses

Badges are a big part of The Pony Club and last night our younger members had lots of FUN and laughter while learning their Mini Teeth Badge. Well done everyone!
Thank you Helen Harris for coaching.
