In the garden we have:
Mon 15th June 5pm-6.30pm
International Acoustic Jam session:
Singing some international songs and songs of welcome, with surprise guests. Free, no need to book.
Wed 17th June 4pm-6pm
Games In the Garden. This will include giant Connect 4 and giant snakes and ladders. Free, and no need to book.
Sun 21st June 11am-3pm
International Celebration – food, live music, stalls and language tasters. Free. All welcome. No need to book.

Tai Chi and gardening this weekend
Saturday sees our regular summer Tai Chi sessions continue 2:30 - 3:30pm Free and no need to book.
Sunday is our volunteer garden session 1 - 4pm. Everything you need is provided and our gardeners will be on hand to guide you. Just bring yourself - we'd love to see you.

Do you have a passion for organic, wildlife-friending gardening and building connections through community? We would love to hear from you! We are recruiting two freelance positions, job descriptions can be downloaded from our website news section.
We are looking for a Programme and Outreach Coordinator and Publicity and Marketing Coordinator to help us reach more people in the local community and raise the garden profile as green urban space open to all.
We have advertised the roles separately but if there are candidates interested in both we are open to one person covering both roles if they have the relevant skills and experience.

Tea, Yoga, Tai Chi and Gardening - what a lovely week we have in the garden for you.
Wednesday 2-4pm we have our weekly volunteer session where you can get your hands dirty, or just chat. Guidance and tools all provide - just come along, we'd love to see you.
This is followed (5:30-7pm) by a herbal tea workshop and garden tour. See the plants growing, learn about their properties and then experiment with your own blend. Free but booking required: [email protected]
Thursday sees Sue hosting Bliss in Nature yoga workshop. Relax and enjoy sensation and feeling in both movement and stillness. Suitable for beginners and yoga lovers. This is fully booked.
Tai Chi with Majeed is back on Saturday 2:30-3:30 this meditative practise is always a treat to do outside. Free - no need to book.

Welcome to Bliss in Nature Summer Yoga!
Join us on Thursday 11th June 11am-3pm for a rejuvenating Summer yoga session surrounded by the beauty of nature at Grapes Hill Community Garden. Take a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life and connect with your inner zen in this serene outdoor setting.
Experienced instructor, Sue Tideswell, will guide you through a series of poses designed to help you find peace and balance. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or a beginner, all levels are welcome to join in the fun!
Awaken your body, breathe and feel part of the blossoming seasonal loveliness around you.
In the morning from 11-1 pm there will be slow yoga including gentle flow, breath work and release of tension through held posture .
We will break for a 'bring your own lunch' at 1pm , and from 1.30 -3pm there will be more somatic, embodied yoga with held postures and restful guided yoga nidra meditation.
Come and experience the bliss of practicing yoga in nature. Don't miss out on this opportunity to recharge your mind, body, and soul.
