Norse Group is proud to be supporting local food vendor Zaket Potato, who are making a difference in the community by helping vulnerable people, and those experiencing homelessness. Thanks to the generosity of colleagues across Norse Group, and by Bunzl who also donated a huge number of items, we were able to support women in need.

Pupils across Norfolk have been enjoying a fresh take on school meals, inspired by Norwich City FC and Norwich City Women FC.

Through the return of the Active Canaries programme, delivered in partnership with the Community Sports Foundation, more than 11,000 young people have explored the connection between nutrition, movement, and wellbeing in a fun and engaging way.

From a special menu takeover to interactive sessions and assemblies, the programme brings healthy habits to life. Pupils also heard from players Jovon Makama, Grace Riglar and Vladan Kovačević, who shared how nutrition supports their performance on the pitch.

Designed by Dan Savage, Head Executive Chef for the First Team and Jack Richardson, Lead Performance Nutritionist at Norwich City Football Club, in collaboration with our own menu development team, the options encouraged pupils to try something new, from loaded sweet potato wedges to katsu curry and apple and cinnamon muffins.

It’s a great example of what partnership working can achieve, bringing together food, education, and sport to support healthier choices and stronger communities.

As strategic partners to Norwich City Community Sports Foundation, we are proud to support the Onside programme and the positive opportunities it creates for local young people.

One story that really captures its impact is Monty’s. Through the power of football, he has grown in confidence, strengthened his communication skills, and found a sense of belonging. Today, that progress is coming full circle, as he’s helping to inspire and support other children taking part.

To celebrate National Apprenticeship Week, we sat down with Adam Jeffries, Operations Manager at n-able, to reflect on his apprenticeship journey.

After stepping into his current role, Adam chose to enrol on the Level 5 Operational Manager apprenticeship with Dove Nest Group to strengthen his leadership skills and deepen his knowledge. His experience highlights the importance of creating opportunities that help employees build confidence, develop professionally, and realise their potential.

At Norse Group, we are committed to nurturing our employees by equipping them with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to grow. Through our contribution to the Apprenticeship Levy, employees can access a wide range of development pathways, helping them build meaningful careers while continuing to make a positive impact in the communities we serve.

💛 Brew Monday 💛
Yesterday we came together for a Lunch & Learn with the amazing Samaritans, taking time to pause, chat, and check in on one another. Brew Monday is all about connection — a reminder that a simple cuppa and a conversation can make a real difference. ☕️💬

We were also joined by the lovely Mishka, our furry friend, who brightened everyone’s day with tail wags, cuddles, and plenty of smiles! 🐶✨

Brew Monday matters because it encourages us to talk openly about mental health, look out for one another, and remember that support is always available — you’re never alone.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make today such a positive, supportive moment. 💛

Last week, Break in partnership with Just Helping, delivered its annual Treecycling initiative, helping households recycle their Christmas trees while raising vital funds. Break supports young people in care, around care and after leaving care, building lifelong relationships that grow confidence, strengthen connection and open doors to new opportunities.

This year’s effort was supported by numerous local partners, including Norse Group, Bircham Windmill, Sandringham Estate, Kier Group and DK Groundscare.

At Norse Group, our security employees and n-able teams supported the tree collections, while our grounds team processed more than 300 trees into wood chips, ensuring they were recycled responsibly and with care for the environment.

We are proud to play a small part in supporting such an important cause and the positive impact it has for young people across our communities.

Norse Group is proud to celebrate multiple Food for Life accreditations across our catering teams.

Our Norfolk team has retained Bronze for the 14th year running, with Drake Primary School in Thetford achieving Silver. In Devon, our South West Norse team has secured Silver for the second consecutive year.

Created by the Soil Association, Food for Life recognises sustainable, healthy catering that makes a real difference. These accreditations reflect the care, skill, and pride our teams bring to every meal, championing fresh, seasonal produce, supporting local farmers, and helping build more resilient food systems.

On the achievement, Craig Neale, Operations Director for Catering said:
“These accreditations are a fantastic achievement and a testament to the dedication of our catering teams. We’re proud of the meals we serve and the difference they make to children and communities, and we’re excited to keep building on this work in the year ahead.”
