While we were thinking about how we could best raise money for some local causes and also help local independent businesses increase their exposure, the idea of The Forward Pass was formed .....

The idea is simple;

1 - Local independent businesses sign up and offer discounts to members. (the discounts can be changed as often as businesses like)

2 - Members buy an annual pass (£20) and, at the point of sale, they choose which local charity or good cause they want to donate half of the cost to.

3 - Members browse all participating businesses on the website, increasing exposure to our local customer base. When members buy a Forward Pass, they can check the website and App (coming soon!) and see which local businesses have offers available. Why list your business with The Forward Pass? Our purpose is to support local businesses and generate money for local charities and good causes. We believe in paying it forward, to help those in our communities and help build our local economy. Our mission for businesses is to increase your market share of local customers and help the good fight against the global and national giants. Signing your business up to The Forward Pass and giving our members a discount/offer will result in the following benefits:

- Free advertising for your business with a dedicated professional listing on our page, SEO optimised.

- You’re in control of the discount offered to our local members. You can change it whenever you like to either suit trading conditions/seasonality or to push certain stock/services.

- Engage with new local customers and reward existing local customers.

- No hidden charges, the only cost to your business is your offer to our members.

- By signing up you will help a local charity or good cause to receive some much-needed income.

- You will get access to our private Facebook group, dedicated to connecting local businesses, supporting each other, providing resources and tools to help you grow your business. How much does listing a business cost? There is no charge for businesses signing up to The Forward Pass. The only cost will be the discount you choose to pass on to our local members. We would love to help promote your business and in turn to pay forward your kindness to local charities and great causes. We're hoping to get enough businesses signed up so we can launch to the public in the Spring.
