From separate spaces to one beautiful, open-plan kitchen 🤍

This project was a complete transformation. We removed the supporting wall between the existing kitchen and dining room, opening up the space and creating a much larger, brighter and more sociable kitchen.

From the new kitchen and granite worktops to the integrated appliances, feature splashback and finishing touches, every detail was designed to make the most of the newly opened space.

We also transformed the adjoining utility room with a beautiful green finish, while continuing the new flooring throughout to bring the whole space together.

A huge amount of work went into this one, but the finished result speaks for itself. 👌🏼

The stunning Reed Green cabinetry brings warmth and character to this beautifully designed bathroom, paired with a sleek worktop and integrated basin for a clean, contemporary finish.

The feature wall tiles add another layer of detail, while the bath creates a practical and relaxing centrepiece to the room. 🛁

Finished with a chrome heated towel rail, modern sanitaryware and warm wood-effect flooring, this bathroom is the perfect combination of style, practicality and personality.

A timeless combination of warm, natural tones with contrasting matt black brassware and accessories, creating a bathroom that feels both luxurious and practical.

One of our favourite features has to be the bespoke shower seat. Rather than simply adding a standard seat, we designed and built this into the shower itself, creating a seamless, practical feature that follows the lines of the room and gives the shower a real luxury feel.

It’s these little details that make a bathroom feel truly bespoke — designed around the customer, rather than simply fitted into the space.

This transformation was about much more than just fitting a new kitchen.

🔨 We completely replastered the entire room, blocked up the old back door and created a brand-new window to improve the layout and bring in more natural light.

🚨 PART 2 – THE FINISHED RESULT! ☕✨

A few weeks ago, we showed you the transformation… now it’s time to reveal the finished project. 👀

What was once an empty, outdated bank has officially opened its doors as The Dragon’s Crumb charity café – and seeing it full of people, great food, and smiles makes every hour of hard work worthwhile.

This wasn’t just another kitchen fit-out.

It was a complete commercial installation designed, built and delivered by the BKBD team from the ground up. From the first strip-out to the final finishing touches, we were proud to be trusted with such an important project for our town.

🚧 BIGGEST TRANSFORMATION OF THE YEAR… 👀

This wasn’t just a kitchen installation… this was a complete building transformation.

The old Santander bank in Nuneaton is being brought back to life as The Dragon’s Crumb charity café, and we’re incredibly proud to have played a huge part in making it happen.

🔨 We:
✅ Stripped out internal walls
✅ Built brand new layouts
✅ Completely reshaped the building
✅ Reconfigured electrics
✅ Repaired and reinstated ceilings
✅ Installed the entire commercial kitchen
✅ Fitted all cabinetry, worktops, appliances, sinks & plumbing

Projects like this don’t happen overnight, but seeing an empty shell become something that will serve the local community makes every hour worthwhile.

This is exactly what we love doing – taking on challenging projects and delivering them from the ground up.
