Trim-a-Van

Dan from Hednesford came in with his tidy transit custom van. This needed a refresh in the back. Dan and his partner are planning to put a rock & roll bed in the back with a few other additions so they wanted to tidy up the rear before this gets installed.
The old plywood was skipped and new ply added. Behind all of this it was insulated on the doors, walls and roof then wrapped all over including ford logos on the rear quarters.
We added a halo roof in grey suede with a blue perimeter light. Adam Maher did his thing adding a vinyl floor in concrete effect to finish the job off. Hope the van is how you wanted it Dan and look forward to seeing the finished result 👍🏼

Have also various off cuts of new plywood inside

We are running out of space so come and take as much as you need, we will be keeping back what we need but it’s all going by midweek so be fast if you want any. We are open all day tomorrow from 9am.

Gabriel from Milton Keynes (millennium falcon transport solutions ltd) came in with his huge Iveco daily van. This was already Plylined but he just wanted it smartened up internally. We pulled out all the sides and and the floor and insulated all the way round for him. The floor was also thermo lined and re-installed afterwards. The sides and doors were then fully wrapped in anthracite 4 way stretch adding load lock rails along the sides. The bulkhead was removed and we added infills around the gaps of the B pillars for him. To finish off he didn’t need a roof (as he’s 6ft 3 😂) so we just added some subtle lighting strips for him. Now he can move motorbikes in style. Thanks again for the work!

Sanj got in touch with us to sort out his electric transit van. He’s a DPD Driver locally and has not long owned the van. The vehicle was advertised ply lined on the listing but when he went to collect it most of of it was missing including the floor! So all we had to do was get it lined out for him so he can get it working on Monday.
New sides were cut to fit in 9mm, wheel arches were made to fit and a 12mm floor so hopefully he can crack on with his job. Thanks again for coming the long journey of 5 minutes away and make sure you put it on charge 🤣

Kayne Lawlor from by us popped in with a few things he wanted sorting out. First up was his roof lining out out of his VXR8. It was sagging badly, he removed the old material and we added some black foam backed suede material to smarten it up. He also gave us a landrover dashboard to literally just cover and make nice, it’s an old beast but will become a daily driver car for him so he wasn’t too fussed as long as it was covered over. There’s more to come from Kayne and he has a lot of cars so it will be interesting to see what he brings in to us next! Thanks again 👍🏼

Mark stockton came back with this stunning transit custom. He already had his sprinter done and was that impressed we had to do this one for him. Fully ply lined out including the roof with blue halo, all wrapped in anthracite with no metal work showing. Also added 6 spots and 2 work lamps at the rear to make loading in the dark a thing of the past. Really enjoyed this one and thanks for trusting us with your pride and joy 👍🏼

Andrei Vintu was back again to switch things around with his sprinter van. Already having a bed install he decided 1 bed needed to be a bunk as he mainly does 2 man driving over Europe and now being on Tacho both drivers can get their heads down. We removed his bed and installed 2. Below the lower bed now houses a compressor fridge that slides out on soft close draw runners. There’s a couple of storage areas either side with access from the side door and a trap door in the rear for behind the drivers seat area. We added a TV to the lower bed and twin halo roofs. The rear of the van was wrapped as he already had decent ply lining and a roof added with Red load lights and spots.
We also changed it from 3 seats to 2 seats (thanks to Scott Ferguson for sorting the seat, bad and floor). These have now gone in to be re-upholstered! We also sorted a few other bits out like load lock and cable routing to finish it off. Andrei will be coming back soon for a Nightheater and a leisure battery so this van is coming together nicely. Well this post came around earlier than planned but it’s good to be so busy! Moving forward from now we are currently full with bookings for this year and the only guarantee we can squeeze someone in is if we can complete a van earlier than its deadline.
This is good news for us but bad news if you are planning to book in. This is why we always go on about planning in advance even if it is months ahead.
January diary is now open, I’m personally away this week on holiday with family and on 1/2 days next week due to a training course so please what’s app with general messages and email with bigger projects you have planned. I will reply just not as quick.
