Back again today with some more filler, sanding and some oil.

Not super pretty, but a purposeful fix that means the doors are now free to open, no trip hazards etc...

Well today started as a huge lump and bubble like deformity in the Solid Oak flooring, formed by a water leak, causing the grain to twist bow and cup boards out of shape when it dried.

After many hours of relief cuts, screws, wood filler and sanding, it's nearly flat once again.

Bit of a rush for this job to complete as guests will arrive some point soon.

A bit more filler tomorrow (ran out !) some oil and wax to blend the worked area to the original finish as best as possible, and the cupboard and back door will be able to open as before, making the rental property fully useable again.

Thankfully the floor is being redone in the future.

Sunday was a relaxed day, seeing the parents in law, and helping frame up their cabin with a bathroom wall.

It'll be a 6" thick wall with a pocket sliding door to recess into the wall, more to do at some point, but it's starting to look the part.

Thankfully weather seems to be improving, which helps progress no end.

One Binstore ready and awaiting some slabs. The client has a very muddy patch this will sit on, especially at winter.

Finally a day that looks brighter and drier!
Time to try and process this pile of wood and get it precut and drying out.

Well, 2 weeks away.
back now, but it was a week of being under the weather. I had to really clean up the garden grass and hedges too as it was like a jungle.

Somewhat back to normallity now, with jobs and deliveries commencing again soon.

I did however forget to order some types of timber in on our previous order, so today we popped out to get them on the list.

Meanwhile, a small fence job completed with some help, yo create some privacy on a fairly open fence design.

A Golden Ringed Dragonfly spotted at Macgregors whilst collecting some screws and bolts.

On Saturday I'm away out of country for a bit, and will resume orders once we return.

Well, a little lost at Flodigarry getting the correct house, but that's another order all delivered to a happy customer.
