The Story So Far ... a short interview with Laura Anderson

The business as it is now, started back in January 2017. Jeremy was working flat out, fitting for the good local kitchen companies, and I was a buyer for a shop fitting company, working with companies such as Starbucks. Our first project as DKAB came about over beans on toast one supper time after a crazily long day at work. A customer who Jeremy had fitted a kitchen for some years previously got in touch to see if he would consider fitting a new dream bedroom. This happened quite often, and still does - 90% of our customers are recommended by others! Anyone that's worked with Jeremy, knows that when they want something new, he'd just sort everything out for them. If I remember rightly, it was the third consecutive night of Jeremy putting the plan under my nose, to come up with a design when I finally gave in and sketched a layout. The customer (Angela) loved it, but we hit a wall as none of the shops could supply it the way we had in our minds. That's when my buying skills and Jeremy’s technical knowledge came into play, and we had it manufactured ourselves. Angela said it was without doubt the best furniture at the best price she has ever had. So much so she told a friend,
Who told a friend
Who told a friend
And that’s how our little business grew! Thank you to all our customers old and new. We are genuinely humbled by how you have helped us grow, and your support and kindness in recommending us to your family and friends means to the world to us.

There’s something special about a kitchen that gets the details right — the fluted cabinetry, the warm oak tones against natural stone, that soft under-cabinet glow tying it all together.

This space blends texture and warmth beautifully, proving that a considered material palette can turn a kitchen into the heart of the home.

Watch to see how it all comes together. ✨

Based in Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire, Designer Kitchens & Bedrooms bring this same level of craftsmanship to every project across the Fylde coast.

“The kitchen feels very high end and yet wasn’t too much more than off the shelf kitchen providers that we got quotes from” - Sean & Courtney

One of the biggest misconceptions about creating your dream kitchen is that it requires an unlimited budget and the most expensive appliances, worktops, and finishes on the market.👀

The truth is, a beautiful, bespoke kitchen doesn’t have to come with a luxury price tag.

At DKAB, we pride ourselves on designing and creating stunning spaces that work for both your vision and your budget. Whether you’re planning a full renovation or a simple transformation, we’ll help you achieve a space you’ll love without unnecessary costs.
