A bold & beautiful Stag Chest of Drawers finished in Farrow & Ball Scotch Blue. This classic statement piece will complement a wide range of interiors as a real focal point.

The drawers are made from oak, a strong, hard, heavy and dense wood with very close grain. The unit contains four full sized drawers with three smaller drawers each built using dove tail joints making it incredibly robust.

The process of restoration involved stripping the drawers back to bare wood, applying an undercoat before finishing with three final coats of Scotch Blue.

We try to ensure that our furniture items are in their best condition. The item is preloved and will have age related marks that add to its character and charm. Buying preloved items is a great way to help the environment.

Furniture Care -

We’d recommend dusting with a lint free cloth. As with all wooden furniture we’d recommend using a coaster to avoid marks also avoid using harsh chemicals to clean the item.

We’re back with a bang finishing off this beauty from last year. It was nice to be able to take something over the line so easily! Still a few more areas am to touch up but we’re almost there! 🙌🏻

The process of restoration involved stripping the drawers back to bare wood, applying an undercoat before finishing with three final coats of F & B Castle Grey. The result is a lovely Matt finish.

A beautiful vintage dressing table finished in Frenchic Furniture Paint “Dusky Pink”. This eye catching dressing table will bring joy to any bedroom.

The Dressing Table is made from pine wood, a lightweight yet durable wood , containing three drawers with dovetail joints making the drawers very sturdy. The drawers have stunning handmade porcelain k***s containing both pink and gold colours complementing the unit beautifully.

The process of restoration involved stripping the dressing table back to bare wood, applying an undercoat before finishing with three final coats of Frenchic Dusky Pink.

Introducing Moses 🧺

A beautiful and elegant mid-century writing bureau finished in Farrow & Ball Hague Blue. This classic statement piece will complement a wide range of interiors as a real focal point.

The bureau is made from Teak, a wood with suburb quality and good strength properties, containing a single solid drawers with dove tail joints making it incredibly robust. Once opened it reveals a solid wood writing surface and several dividers for the storage of various stationary items.

The bureau benefits from a solid wood apron and legs that support desk. The hinges of the cabinet have also been replaced with new brass hinges which complement both the wood and the paint finish.

The process of restoration involved stripping the bureau back to bare wood, applying an undercoat before finishing with three final coats of The Hague Blue. The teak was treated with linseed oil to draw out the rich and deep colour and texture of the wood. A coat of Polyvine Dead Flat was also added to protect the finish.

The Pink Stuff!

Have you guys ever used this to bring brass back to life? It’s amazing!

We’d googled a few home hacks to try and figure out a way to clean these lovely brass handles but nothing worked. We tried using lemon and baking powder to do avail. We then realised we had some of The Pink Stuff and it worked a treat!

Not sure how visible the difference is in these pics (in the second picture the one has been cleaned one hasn’t) but honestly it worked so well :-)

Have you guys got any tips for cleaning metal?
