Just finished… and I’m a little bit in love!

This beautifully upcycled chest of drawers has been completely transformed with a bold, textured sabrano veneer finish, perfectly contrasted with natural wood framing.

The deep, almost weathered grain effect gives it a real statement feel — modern but with a nod to its vintage roots. Finished off with elegant, detailed handles to keep that character shining through.

Perfect as a standout piece in a bedroom, hallway or living space.

A little project I have just completed for a client!

Pocket history from my client.

Purchased as an old, simple kitchen stool in 1996 from Kitchenalia, which then, was on Inglewhite Road opposite what is now, Anjis, & subsequently became the nationally known Odd Chair Company (now located in Woodplumpton)

It's had a busy life, starting as an extra at the kitchen table, then relocating to the "home office" as a "printer stand" where it played a useful part for years. Once I'd splashed out on a purpose-built printer stand, it was then made semi-redundant, & relegated to the laundry room, however, was still used as a "step-stool" for reaching those cobwebs in impossibly high ceiling corners. It's even spent time in the garage, unloved, but today, it's back in favour, as it's an ideal spot for the CCTV box in the sitting room, but it needs a bit of an upgrade......
