This week is Grown in Britain Week, and this year's theme, Commerciality through Connectivity, reflects something we understand well at ercol. The connection between a woodland, a supply chain and a finished piece of furniture is not incidental. It is the whole point.
Our Marino collection is one of the clearest expressions of that. Produced using British certified ash through our partnership with Grown in Britain, its elegant flowing lines are contemporary in feel yet rooted in traditional craft. The arms steam-bent by hand, the spindles individually turned from solid wood, the webs and cushions sewn in-house at our Princes Risborough factory.
Marino cushions are also available in Quallofil Blue, a polyester fibre made using 50% recycled plastic.
