One eyed cat

Made a start on a coat stand bench today. Decided to make it a meter wide with 4 panels on the back. Once it’s completed I’ll post pictures.

Quick update on the benches I’ve been painting both now completed. Better pics to follow.

Bored with painting so decided to make another monks bench with storage. 3ft wide made with chunky pine. Lots of other style benches available.

Decided on colours I’ve gone with farrow and ball colour worsted in Johnson’s eggshell, and dulux own colour fandeck. More pics to follow.

Couple of benches undergoing preparation, both sanded and sealed before some good old fashioned oil based paint (undercoat). Top coat colour to be decided.

What a miserable day.
Not painted anything proper few a while so with no interruptions I’ve managed to make this bench today, will start preparing bench for paint Friday.
