Sunday Canoe Outing
On Sunday 16th August,

We will assemble at 11:30am at the Jubilee River Riverside Centre.

Sunday, 2nd August, Port Fonty Open Day and Barbecue at Caversham Lakes

Arrival 10.00 for boating and 12.30 for BBQ.

Schedule - Boating then enjoy the barbecue and maybe go out on the river in the afternoon. Or maybe just sit around and chat!

If you have friends who might be interested in the Society they are very welcome.

Bring your own drink, perhaps some salad accompaniments to share and some cash as we make a small charge to cover the cost of the food.

Henley Royal Regatta

Saturday 4th July

We plan to depart Port Fonty ~ 09:30 and row the 10 miles to Henley,
arriving ~ 12:30 - 13:00
We will moor on the booms by the finish line and enjoy the closest possible view of the finish while enjoying an onboard picnic.

Row back in the afternoon.

Time for Winter Walks

on

Sunday 1 st February 2026. Led by Iain.
A 3-mile circular walk, through Crowsley Park, starting and finishing at the Bottle and
Glass Inn, just outside Henley on Thames in Binfield Heath.

Sunday. 1st March walk, to be led by Tanya.

It will be a circular walk starting and finishing at The Horns pub, Crazies Hill, Reading. The walk takes approximately 1.5 hours up through the woods and hills.
