Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver to join our team. The primary role involves delivering furniture, both boxed and unboxed, to various locations across the UK. This position requires flexibility for occasional overnight stays and day trips, with accommodation and a food allowance provided for overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely operate a van to transport goods and materials to designated locations.

- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and secure packaging.

- Follow delivery schedules to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.

- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse personnel to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues or concerns.

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries.

- Perform vehicle checks and use dash cams as required.

Requirements:

- Proven driving experience in a luton or low loader van.

- Valid UK driver’s licence.

- Must declare any points or previous disqualifications on the driving licence.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Safe and diligent driving, adhering to the highway code, parking regulations, and being respectful to all road users.

- Ability to handle and transport furniture securely.

- Ability to manage expenses and liaise with the internal finance team.

Key Responsibilities for Frame Assembler Role:
Frame Assembly:
Assemble frames to precise specifications using various hand tools, including impact drivers and screwdrivers.
Work with a variety of frame components, ensuring accurate and efficient assembly.

Tool Operation:
Operate saws such as bandsaws, crosscut saws, and chop saws safely and effectively, as required.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly.

Quality Assurance:
Check frame tolerances to ensure consistency and adherence to quality standards.
Conduct regular inspections of assembled frames, rectifying any issues as necessary.

Material Handling:
Load and unload vehicles with materials and finished frames, ensuring safe handling practices.
Organise and manage materials within the workspace to support efficient workflow.

Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to risk assessments.

WE ARE HIRING: Job Title: Sewing Machinist

Location: Pentre, Rhondda

Salary: Up to £14.61 per hour

Working Hours: Minimum 32 hours - 37.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate products according to work orders using a variety of materials including woven fabrics, leather, and vinyl for our rise and recline furniture.
- Ensure all orders are completed accurately before passing the product to the next workstation.
- Conduct quality checks on all work produced.
- Meet established sewing targets.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in your work area.
- Continuously seek to improve work processes and efficiency.

Work Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- Friday: 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a sewing machinist, preferably in a furniture manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently to meet targets and deadlines.
- Good physical fitness, capable of handling manual tasks.
- Team player with good communication skills.
