Recliners is looking for an experienced Furniture Upholsterer to join our team.
What’s on offer:
• £15.30 per hour during training
• Piece-work incentive scheme once successfully trained and signed off
• 37.5 hours per week
• Monday to Friday
• Full-time, permanent position

About the role
You’ll be upholstering furniture to a high standard and, once fully trained and signed off on our products and processes, working independently to meet production and quality requirements.
Previous furniture upholstery experience is essential, but we’ll provide full training on our products, tooling and working methods.

We’re looking for someone who:
• Has previous upholstery experience
• Takes real pride in the quality of their work
• Has good attention to detail
• Can work independently and as part of a team
• Is reliable and punctual
• Has a positive attitude towards training and continuous improvement

Once you’ve successfully completed your training and sign-off, you’ll move onto our piece-work incentive scheme, giving you the opportunity to increase your earnings based on your performance and output.

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver to join our team. The primary role involves delivering furniture, both boxed and unboxed, to various locations across the UK. This position requires flexibility for occasional overnight stays and day trips, with accommodation and a food allowance provided for overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely operate a van to transport goods and materials to designated locations.

- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and secure packaging.

- Follow delivery schedules to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.

- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse personnel to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues or concerns.

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries.

- Perform vehicle checks and use dash cams as required.

- Proven driving experience in a luton or low loader van.
