Our 4 top tips for decorating your Christmas tree:

1. Start with the glow: Opt for a pre-lit tree to make styling effortless from the start, or weave fairy lights deep within the inner branches to create atmospheric warmth from the inside out.
2. Curate a quiet palette: Stick to 2–3 harmonious shades, such as warm ch*****ne and crimson, or frosted silver and soft white for a look that feels naturally cohesive.
3. Layer with texture and scale: Combine delicate glass baubles, tactile ribbons and sentimental keepsakes, placing larger pieces further down for balance before adding a statement topper.
4. Secure the details: Wrap ornament ribbons or strings directly around the branch twice rather than just draping them. They’ll sit far more neatly and stay securely in place, even around pets and little ones.

Most importantly, embrace simplicity and choose styles that elevate your home.

“My children always know Christmas is coming the minute I start lighting Winter again.” Chrissie Rucker, Founder.

Over 25 years ago, our founder Chrissie, was playing about at home with aromatherapy oils for an oil burner. Adding drops of cinnamon, a little bit of clove and a touch of orange, trying out different combinations until she found the perfect balance – one that just smelled like Christmas. And that’s how Winter was born.
These days, our collection is crafted by master perfumers, but we still use that same secret recipe and natural extracts that make it so unmistakably Winter. The original and the best, so many people welcome Winter into their homes every year, so don’t just take our word for it, here’s what some of our customers have to say…

“The perfect winter scent. I buy it every year to burn at Christmas”
“Christmas in a candle”
“My favourite Christmas scent. Absolutely encapsulates winter and Christmas in a fragrance.”
“Absolutely love this fragrance for Winter. Smells so homely and warm. Buy it every year.”
“Such a beautiful scent which instantly transports me to Christmas.”
