Today we finished off the installation of this Bespoke unit.

We made and installed this small but mighty display and closed cabinet for the showroom of

The cabinet was veneered in a dyed grey birdseye Maple veneer from which was finished in a 25% PU acrylic lacquer.

The shelves are wrapped in suede with a recessed brass edge detail and MINIM spot downlighters from

The same recessed brass detail was incorporated into the doors to match existing furniture in the showroom.

We also incorporated power and data cables into the cabinet for the Apple TV box and HDMI cable to link to the mirrored TV.

A pair of FD30 Walnut veneered and lacquered firedoors.

We supplied this pair of doors for a customer back during the days of covid when working from home became very popular.

The customer wanted to separate a part of their home from the noisy hustle and bustle of day to day life and home schooling to be able to work with a bit more peace and quiet.

With rebated meeting edges and acoustic seals machined into the perimeter suddenly there was no excuse to not get the work done.

Customer supplied photo of the large 2700mm FD60 door and frame set we supplied complete last week.

This was an insurance job to replace an existing door, frame and architraves when the old one got damaged due to a water leak.

We matched the rebated profile frame and architraves and machined the hinges, lock, acoustic seal, lock and architrave grooves on a like for like basis so it was as simple and efficient as possible on site for fitting.

We veneered all in Oak and stained it all to match the existing colour before finishing in 2 coats of 5% clear PU acrylic lacquer.

Here is the finished record cabinet we provided the veneered fronts, end panels and top for a while back.

Our customer was kind enough to send us these pictures of the finished piece.

The matching of the grain and sap was key on this project and you can see why. So much so that we have been asked to do a third and final piece in the same veneer over the coming months.
