We're Blacks of Sopwell, a British luxury home & interiors lifestyle brand specialising in beautiful functional and sustainable furniture for modern living. As a family business, we’re proud to have been designing and making furniture for three decades.
Home is the glorious Hertfordshire countryside where we put down our roots some 30 years ago. We've stayed put and luckily for us so have our customers. Our longstanding trading history has meant that our wonderful clientele have been with us right from the very beginning sharing our vision for a different kind of furniture craft.
Since we opened the doors to our very first showroom, our philosophy has remained the same: to source and make only the finest furniture we can. We believe in those forever pieces that are designed with the utmost care and attention, built to last, adaptable and durable. Our passion and craft is for thoughtful simplistic furniture design.
