A recent Kitchen we finished. 💚 The breakfast bar and upper units designed and made by us. We also renovated all of the old cupboard fronts. Now a lovely bright welcoming kitchen great to cook in or just watch with a glass of wine!🍷☺️🙌

One of our next jobs up in Shaftesbury. This fitted display cabinet will have LEDs inside the cupboards, and a top set to shine light down the front of the shelves. 💚📚

We have been busy welcoming our newest member of the Shaker Dorset team. 😍👶🏼 I think her apprenticeship might take a while! 🩷
In between enjoying this lovely time, we’re working on finishing installing a breakfast bar and refurbishing a kitchen. Photos of this on the way. 🙌

A recently completed pair of bespoke alcove units.

Beaded face frames, simple shaker doors, adjustable shelves and integrated lighting, all finished in the beautiful De Nimes. Another commission from some fantastic clients, the perfect spot for picking a book off the shelves and settling down for a cosy evening by the fire.

We provided plans for the contractor to set the bulkhead for the cornice, behind the scenes there is discreet cable routing for the TV, additional strengthening behind the units for the tv bracket, and the lighting is switched with the room lamp circuit.

If you have a cosy corner in need of some some bespoke cabinetry do drop us an email.

We’ve recently finished these pair of open wardrobes for his and hers dressing rooms. These both have loads of hanging space, and lots of drawer space for clothes and boots/shoes. Also with flush LED lights in the sides of the hanging space. Very hard to photograph the whole wardrobes, but you get the idea! 🩵👗🧥🙌

Meet the faces behind Shaker Dorset….. After years of working for other people, Harry and I decided to start a business together in 2022. With our love for interiors, designing and making beautiful cabinetry, we run our small business in based in beautiful North Dorset, near Shaftesbury.
We run Shaker Dorset with just ourselves as employees! So we both get involved in every aspect of our work, we both design and make. Mainly Harry fits as he has years of experience fitting kitchens and other fitted furniture under his belt.
Whether you are after some wardrobes, understairs storage, boot rooms, a utility room, dressing rooms, or you have a tricky alcove that needs a bespoke cupboard or set of bookshelves to make the most of it, we would love to help. We will also consider small kitchens. We take great pride in all aspects of our work from the initial design stages to the fitting and finishing, providing a very high quality finish.

We have been lucky enough to work with some lovely clients, often returning to design and make many other projects for them. 💚🙌
