Todays job, pair of drive gates with locking dropbolt, locinox lock and telescopic bollard. Unluckily these were fitted after 2 car thefts but now they have piece of mind that it wont happen again.

We also supply and fit a system which sends an invisible beam across the driveway that if tripped alarms your phone as well as sets off a siren. These are very effective at detering thieves as they dont know they are there until they trip the beam. Very convieniant as they work from an app on your phone and alarm you where ever you are.

Today's job finished off just before we melted. Wasn't sure about this colour at first but now it's finished it looks brilliant

Hate to say it but I think this is my favourite set of gates we've done and I didn't even make them, thanks to the old man for the steel work and Rob Harwood for the woodwork. Fully automated, can be opened via text message

Graces Ornamental Ironworks was established in 1990 by Andrew Ian Grace, he started out in a garage making hanging baskets and christmas tree holders for extra cash when money was tight. Before too long the business grew and he had to stop working 2 jobs and commit to the wrought iron business full time. Years later we now supply various building companies on their new build projects as well as homeowners in need of high quality wrought iron gates, balconies, spiral staircases, fire escapes, handrails..... basically anything made from mild steel.
Andrew has now passed on the family business to his very capable and very handsome son Matthew, who you may have guessed is writing this description.
