I seem to be going through large pieces like there's no tomorrow at the moment. They seem to be going out the door quicker than I can get them!

This is a rather lovely early 20th-century solid honey oak dresser, inlaid with a checkerboard pattern throughout, with six drawers below and two plate-rack shelves and cupboards above.

I'm moving into an emporium next week to try and shift some of my smaller pieces, and I was planning on keeping this one to display some of the plates I've accumulated.

I thought it had possibly sold, but as it turns out it hasn't β€” so if you're after a decent-sized dresser, this one is still available.

How about this for a chest of drawers - early 20th-century, but in what style? Regency meets Jacobean?

I love the way the bracket feet are an extension of the sides. Three drawers in a two-over-one configuration, with narrow proportions similar to that of a bachelor's chest - perfect for a bedroom space or even a narrow hallway.

I actually collected this one from a dining room, which I think is a pretty good example of how these things don't always have to be used exactly as intended.

A A little sketchy, but I got it on there - recorded just in case there was a You've Been Framed payout waiting for me...

I've somehow accumulated this collection of baskets over the years.

Some are antique, some vintage, and some are probably somewhere in between.

I'm going to start moving a few of them on. They'll be available here on Instagram first, and some may eventually make their way onto the website.

The two thicker ones would make excellent log or blanket baskets.

If you like any of them, get at me 😏

A fine early 20th-century pitch pine dresser.

The lower section is enclosed behind twin arched panelled doors with a matching central stile, below two bold drawers. The upper section mirrors the lower, with the arched panels replaced by glazed doors.

The interior retains its original turquoise paint, which would once have adorned the whole unit and now provides a striking contrast to the stripped pitch pine.

Pitch pine throughout, with brass handles and pulls, applied dart mouldings to the top and a bold cornice, all standing on a bracketed plinth base.

Well proportioned and well executed throughout. What's not to like?

Very possibly sold but it deserves its moment in the limelight...

A very fine Victorian mahogany Chiffonier bookcase - at least that is what I'm calling it. Probably a marriage of two parts. Country House condition, but a lovely decorative piece. The little arcade drawers do it for me... The applied acanthus mouldings are a touch of class, too.

Bit of a mundane one, but a standard day in the workshop.

Getting this plinth base fixed up after I picked it up with one side missing. It's not worth a great deal of money, but it was worth fixing because it's a great interior piece.

Sometimes that is the only excuse we have to fix something that isn't economically viable...

As many of you sit around for your Sunday roast: this is my dining room table after my little smalls sale on Friday. I still need to get it cleared.

As an antique dealer, it very often looks much like this. This is how I use this space.

Occasionally we'll eat at the table, but more often than not it's a temporary storage area, a packaging area, and sometimes a bit of a museum where I can enjoy some of the things I've collected whilst drinking my coffee in the morning.

Sometimes we'll sit around it having conversations and putting the world to rights.

But most often, it's as you see it now.

Do rooms always have to be used according to their namesake?

My bedroom is often a drying room. My toilet washes all manner of things. I used to brew b**r in my kitchen, although I suppose that one sort of works.

I wonder how many other people's rooms aren't quite being used for what they were intended for.

As promised earlier in the week - here is my smalls sale.

Barely scratching the surface of what I have available and currently getting in the way in my unit!

Prices should be on my Stories, so check those out. If you need any more details, don't hesitate to give me a shout.

Two things...

Thought I'd give the old "hold the thing just in the shot" photo trend a go...

Look at those bloody knees - I mean barley twists πŸ˜…

Is this not the finest Victorian corner whatnot you've ever seen? Look at those feet - of the whatnot πŸ‘Œ

Let me know that you know it is smart... πŸ‘‡
