Staying with the William Morris theme, but for a different client.
I am so delighted with this reupholstered stool. The fabric is the most beautiful figured velvet, Sunflower Caffoy, it reminds me of an embossed vintage book, it makes this stool such a precious think to love, own and use! And my clients will use, already had feet on it 😆

Played with a few different placements of the design but this is what we went for, and if I must say so myself, it works perfectly!

Blinds in kitchens and bathrooms.
I find fairly commonly my clients will say they don't require anything at their kitchen/bathroom windows, they aren't overlooked, they never used what was up originally, or the glass is obscured, and I accept that. There are lots of windows in the house they are keen for me to design and make curtains and blinds for!
However in my own home I do have blinds in my kitchen and bathrooms, as I think it dresses the window, adds colour, texture, pattern, and I don't like bare windows.
I also never use them.........until there is a heatwave! Then the blinds come down, roller blinds, roman blinds, all of them, in every room, and I am so thankful for them.

Check out this beautiful Art Deco chair.
This chair has HUGE sentimental value for my client it was made especially for someone in her family and was handed down to her. It's the most divine reading chair complete with its own bookcase, adjustable back and folding table.
I found this beautiful satin weave from and I knew it was the perfect one, so was completely thrilled when the client fell in love with it too. We reduced the height of the back cushion as it felt out of proportion and here is the result, what do you think? I love it 🩷
