The Victorian house retains its gracious proportions and period character, but at its heart sits a newly renovated in-frame kitchen that feels both timeless and quietly luxurious. Traditional cabinetry, crafted with classic beaded frames, is painted in soft, heritage tones that sit comfortably against the home’s original architecture. At the centre, a generous Shaws Belfast sink anchors the space, its crisp white ceramic set into solid worktops that speak to both durability and elegance. Above it, refined Quooker taps add a discreet note of modern convenience, delivering instant boiling water without disturbing the traditional aesthetic.

An oak mantle frames the cooking area, lending warmth and texture, while an accompanying oak dresser provides open shelving for ceramics and glassware, echoing the craftsmanship of a bygone era. The focal point is a striking Smeg Italian range cooker, its sculptural form and polished finish bringing a confident splash of continental style to the room. Every detail—from the joinery to the final installation—has been thoughtfully designed, crafted, and fitted by Milford Kitchens of Staffordshire, resulting in a kitchen that feels entirely at home in a Victorian setting while meeting the demands of contemporary living.
