Stylish and functional, this super modular system by Avalon consists of 4 cabinets and 2 shelves. The 2 sliding door cabinets have removeable internal shelves. The remaining cabinets are a chest of 3 drawers and a single drawer cabinet that can be used as a laptop desk or dressing table, if you wish. The black metal uprights and support bars allow the teak shelves and cabinets to be positioned wherever required. You can move the components around and have them sitting wherever you prefer as notches in the rear of the uprights allow the cabinets and shelves to be height adjusted.

The furniture manufacturer Avalon, a British company based in the town of Yatton, Somerset, also made furniture under the names of Wake & Dean and Yatton Furniture. In times past, most of the inhabitants of Yatton would have been employed in agriculture. At the time of the Industrial Revolution a furniture factory was established, initially manufacturing church pews and school desks. The successor to this company, Avalon Furniture, produced stylish and popular ‘modern’ furniture during the mid century period and traded successfully for decades, finally closing in 1985.
