🖤 WHEN IT ALL COMES TOGETHER! 🖤

Remember this tired old oak dining table I gave a new lease of life to several weeks ago? 🎨

Well, the new chairs have finally arrived, the table is in situ, and just look at it now! 😍

The warmth of the natural oak paired with those sleek black legs and gorgeous charcoal chairs — what a combination! 🖤

Absolutely love receiving photos from customers showing my work settled into its new home.

Sometimes it’s not about buying new, it’s about making the old beautiful again! ♻️

A big thank you to my lovely customer for sending this photo over. It’s always the finishing touch seeing everything come together.

❤️ A little update from Reloved by D…

I’ve been a little quieter on here lately, but I’m still here, quietly working away behind the scenes — just at a slightly slower pace than usual.

Life has thrown quite a lot our way recently. We’re in the middle of renovations at home, while also supporting a much-loved family member through cancer. So for now, family has had to come first and Reloved has been ticking along gently in the background. ❤️

That said, I’m incredibly grateful to say that my 2026 diary is now completely FULL. 🥰

I honestly can’t thank everyone enough who has trusted me with their furniture this year, especially those who have been so patient and understanding while life has been a little more complicated than normal.

✨ My diary is now OPEN for 2027 commissions. ✨

So if you have that tired old piece tucked away that deserves another chance, or something sentimental you’d love transformed rather than replaced, please feel free to get in touch.

For now, I’ll keep painting, creating and doing what I love — just taking life one day at a time. 🎨❤️

Thank you, as always, for continuing to support my wee business. It genuinely means more than you know.

Deby x

And finally… this set is home 🩵

When your customer admits their DIY paint job maybe wasn’t their finest hour… Reloved to the rescue 😂🖌️

A complete refresh in Fusion Blue Pine, with ribbed detailing added to the top drawers and new solid brushed steel handles.

And that kist at the front is a special one ❤️ It belonged to my customer’s great-great-grandmother, making it well over 100 years old. Pieces with that kind of family history are always worth saving.

Quite the transformation from where it started! 👌

Now safely back home with my customer in Banchory. 🏡
Thank you again Mary

🖤 Sometimes the furniture just needs the right colour.

This matching set had lovely shape and detail hiding underneath that dated wood finish — so Fusion Coal Black it was.

The black has completely changed the look, while still letting those curved drawers and original detailing do the talking.

Finished with brushed bronze handles for that perfect contrast. 👌

Same furniture. Completely different attitude. 🖤

🚗 Heading back to my customer’s home in Aberdeen. thanks again Angela

✨ FORGOT THE BEFORE… BUT THE AFTER MAKES UP FOR IT! ✨

This gorgeous vintage kidney-shaped dressing table went home to Sauchen earlier this week. 🤍

Finished in Fusion Mineral Paint – Chateau, with those beautiful brass drop handles finishing it off perfectly.

And a little extra with this one… ❤️
The heart mirror was also given a freshen-up. It was a gift to my customer Nicola, who is a nurse in oncology so definitely one worth keeping and giving a new lease of life.

Furniture with a story is always that wee bit more special. 🥰

Thanks again, Nicola — hope you love them both. 🤍

Part 3 & 4 of 4 ✨

And that’s the set complete! 🙌

The final two pieces from our returning customer’s solid oak John Lewis furniture — given a fresh new look in Fusion Willowbank, with the beautiful oak left natural and finished with Osmo Dead Flat Oil. 🖤

A massive thank you to Sharon for coming back to Reloved by D — always lovely to have returning customers. ❤️

That’s all 4 done & dusted! ✔️

PART 1 & 2 OF 4 💙

These solid oak John Lewis pieces have had a fresh new look with Fusion Willowbank, natural oak drawer fronts finished in Osmo Dead Flat Oil & new dark grey mushroom k***s. 🪵👌

Back home just outside Stonehaven tomorrow… while 3 & 4 come back with me! 🎨

Thanks Sharon for returning to Reloved by D once again. 💙

And a wee thank you to all my customers for your patience and understanding over the last few weeks while we’ve had a family member unwell in hospital. It’s genuinely been appreciated. ❤️

🤎 FROM OAK… TO CASHMERE 🤍

What a difference! Heading back home to my customer in Aberdeen.

This chunky oak sideboard was a lovely solid piece, but that dark oak was definitely ready for a freshen up.

✨ Painted in Fusion Mineral Paint – Cashmere
🤎 Beautiful oak top stripped back & left natural, treated with Osmo oil
✨ New hardware to finish the look

Same sideboard… completely different feel. 😍
Thanks again Gillian
