Wooden I Love That

Rainy day jobs and with my wrist still in plaster has seen me doing some very slow spring cleaning. I’ve been sorting out cupboards and drawers and I have come across the drawings for our kitchen installed by the previous owners in 2002 by Decora Elgin .
The kitchen is well made but I wanted something lighter in colour so I painted the kitchen during lockdown, a few years on and it’s still looking the same perhaps not so tidy as in the pictures 😂.

Last week we saw a beautiful week of winter wonderland weather in Stonehaven, it’s very pretty and we’ve not had this much snow for a very long time. Now that’s it’s milder the snow and ice have melted, the school are back up and running and the shops have restocked with milk and bread I thought I’d start on my furniture again and get back into a routine. However, there will be a few weeks delay now as I have broken my wrist which needs to repair first, any new commissions will be from March onwards. Thank you .

Good morning with less than a week to go until Christmas Day there is still time for last minute shopping. I’ve reduced all our Christmas stock by 20%, prices are under each picture and even better I can deliver it to you for free in Stonehaven.

Transformation Tuesday 💚🎄. This old piece of Stag Minstrel furniture from 1977 has been lovingly restored to give it a more modern look. The tired mahogany colour has now gone and has been hand painted in a lovely rich green with new brass handles. Measurements 132cm depth 46cm and height 71cm. £190. ~SOLD~

Lots happening in our lovely town of Stonehaven today, the farmers market is on in the town centre and the GB Ice Swimming Championships are being held at the open air pool. It’s also small business Saturday and as today is my last day at the Pop Up Shop on Cameron Street I’ve got an offer on Christmas tree decorations, but two get 1 free! 🎄

Late night shopping tonight in Stonehaven, lots of great independent shops opening until 8pm a perfect time to kick start or finish off your Christmas shopping. 🎄 and myself will have a selection of Christmas decorations available at the Pop Up Shop on Cameron Street along side Macooart who is back again until Saturday .
