This one's already been posted but we've had an update!
The small window frame Mark made for a beach hut recently, has had an additional extra wide outer frame put on after the customer decided they wanted to change up the design slightly from the original frame Mark was replicating.

We had the before, now for the after!
Mark's finished up the re-creation of a balustrade, using a piece of the original for reference that had suffered some serious rot and weathering damage.
Made from pre-made redwood spindles and custom redwood top and bottom rails, the new balustrade will be painted once installed in place to help protect it from the elements.
Final result? One very happy customer :D

Mark's recently made some demonstration blocks for a company called Exitex that will be used to show customers how their product operates when a door is in action.
These blocks represent a cutdown version of a door with a base and side piece to act as a threshold and frame, hinged to the main block that acts as the door in which the Exitex soundproofing seal sits.
Made from grooved Ash wood, with two coats of varnish, which brings out the grain of the wood beautifully, and chamfered edges. They're ready for action!

Today's creation is a set of flat balustrades with a Sapele hand and base rail.
Cut from redwood using a template of the originals, Mark has added a few inches at the request of the customer so the balustrade comes out a taller, and therefore safer, height to be reinstalled on the balcony / decking.
All that's left is for it to be installed and for the customer to add a couple coats of paint.
