Well it's finished ....disassembled. striped, reassembled, lacquered ....looking good in its natural state 😏

I may have gone too far ....but prep is everything ....now to rebuild and lacquer a lovely light oak colour 😊

Just doing some drawer repair ....a Stag chest of drawers with worm runners, cutting out and replacing with oak so good for another 50 years ....I'd be worn after that amount of time as well 😌

Passed down but no longer suiting it's modern environment, so modernised with a coat of Farrow & Ball Stoney Ground and the top re lacquered to give a modern look.
