I’ve just delivered this cheeky little pine trunk which is going to house Lego !
I’ve seen the Lego and it’s top quality 😂
The top was stripped and waxed to colour match to the rest of the body. I used fine wire wool and beeswax to fill the dinks and give a lovely sheen to the body. Happy days.

Do you remember this one I started a while back ? There were some delays thanks to Stevie Wonder crashing into me and writing the car off and dear old Lexi dog having major surgery. Still, it was good to get back into the workshop and get polishing again. This was a piece from London dating from about the 1920’s that we thought might be beyond repair. However, we gave it a go and it’s come out beautifully. The marks from the wormery infirmary were all left in as a nod to its life and after polishing we aged it back. It’ll be good for a few more years yet ! Happy days.

This was a particularly difficult refinish after we ran into some lifting veneer. Thankfully we were able to go back to old timey polishing techniques to get this unit looking presentable again. Thanks to OP Woodcraft for his expert guidance on this one.
