Does September feel like New Year to you too?
Not January. September.
That "right, let's get organised" feeling creeping in before you've even decided to have it. Has anyone else has bought new pens and a new notebook?
I wonder sometimes if it's just me, having spent so much time in education, is that why September always feels like a fresh start. September was never just a month. It was the reset. New year groups, new targets, new plans for the term ahead.
But clients, colleagues and network buddies talk about this too. September still pulls at them the same way. Maybe it's the school-year rhythm we're all raised on. Maybe it's just that summer gives us permission to slow down and September gives us permission to start again.
Either way, if you're feeling it too: that instinct is worth using, not ignoring.
You don't need a New Year's resolution in January that you've forgotten by February. Let's use this natural reset point, right now, and build your plans for the last part of the year.
If you need guidance to get clarity, structure and set up a process to be more organised, come to my Clarity to Action workshop. Leaving now me guide you through the morning, supporting you to plan your next 90 days practical, setting realistic goals and actions that will help you achieve.
From Clarity to Action: September Reset is to help guide you through those 'new year' plans. Shake off the haze of summer and get ready for what comes next?
Agenda for the morning:
✅ Where are you now? (in your business, not location :-))
✅ What do you want to achieve next?
✅ Time management and prioritising strategies
✅ Create action plan for the next 90 days

Reason five: This is not generic advice. I'm not just teaching you a system I read about.
Twenty years leading a school taught me what it actually feels like to be the person everyone else needs answers from.
The person holding the whole picture together while a hundred smaller things pull at you.
I left that role because it was costing me too much, and I've spent the years since helping other people step back before it costs them the same.
I'm not bringing you a textbook on the 11th. I'm bringing you everything I've learned the hard way about stepping back, seeing clearly, and building something that actually works.
Come and follow the Embrace Business Method to get the clarity you need to create actions to move your business forward.

Reason four: it's £47.
Not because it's worth less than proper one-to-one support — it isn't. But it's a way to get real, structured help without committing to a coaching package before you know if the approach even fits you.
One morning. Coffee and refreshments included. A workbook that's yours to keep. A clear plan by lunchtime.
If you've been curious about working with me but weren't ready for a bigger step, this is the natural place to start.

Reason three: you're not doing this on your own.
There's something that happens in a small room of business owners all doing the same work at the same time. You say something out loud and someone else nods, because they've been thinking the exact same thing and never said it either. Someone shares what's working for them and you realise you could try it too.
That's not something you get from a book, a podcast, or another hour scrolling for the "right" system on your own.
A maximum of ten people, one morning, all genuinely working — not networking, not performing, just working. That's From Clarity to Action.

Leave with an actual plan, not just notes.
By the end of the morning, you'll have worked through what's actually going on in your business right now, decided what genuinely matters most, and developed a realistic 90-day plan.
You currently have a vague sense of direction, a list of things to do, maybe great ideas and dreams for where you want to go next in your business. This will be an actual plan, built in steps with timescales to help you achieve your goals.
That's the difference between a workshop that feels good for a day and one that changes what September actually looks like.
Friday 11th September, 9:30am–12:30pm. We meet in a tranquil location with no distractions just calm open space where you can breathe, and think, and plan.
There will also be tea/coffee and nice pastries!
Ready to make a difference and get the September fresh start buzz, book your place now. Link in the comments.

Three hours where nobody needs you.
Not "quiet time" you'll spend half-checking your phone.
Not a lunch break where you're still thinking about the email you haven't sent.
Actual, protected time, in a room away from your desk, where the only job is to think clearly about your own business for once.
Most business owners can't remember the last time that happened.
Friday 11th September, 9:30am–12:30pm, a rustic venue away from anywhere you'd usually work. That's the whole point — nowhere to disappear to, nothing pulling at you.
Are you ready to claim three hours that are actually yours. And make progress moving your business forward.

You know what you want to do BUT just can't get it done!
I imagine you know exactly what you want to do, you think about it in the shower, when you are driving to a meeting, at 3am when they should be asleep. It's clear in your mind what you need to do next to move your business forward.
But come Monday morning, you're back in the same loop, answering emails, meetings, firefighting, and you are still no closer to actually moving forward to do what you know needs to be done.
It's not a discipline problem. It's not that you don't want it enough. But day to day business and life stuff gets in the way.
What if you could have three uninterrupted hours away from the business to actually think, plan and do!
That's exactly why I built From Clarity to Action.
Friday 11th September, 9:30am–12:30pm, we are meeting in a rustic venue away from anywhere you'd usually work — deliberately, so tit feels different, it's not corporate and nothing pulling at you. A small group of people in the same situation, ready to get organised for the last part of the year.
Three hours to get honest about what's actually going on, decide what matters most, and leave with a 90-day plan you actually believe in.
You're not stuck. You're just too close to it.

We're taught to value doing. Being busy, rushing from one action to another, cramming meetings into every spare slot.
But the best decisions come from space. And to create space we need to step back. Breathe and let the thoughts unravel in our minds.
From asking the right question instead of answering the first one that comes to mind. Give yourself permission to think. Properly. It's the most productive thing you can do.
If you have ideas, thoughts that you have been trying to build into action, but are struggling to get started, come along to my workshop. From Clarity to Action: the September Reset.
I will help you untangle your thoughts and create an actionable plan for the next 90 days.
The workshop is a 3 hour practical session to guide you through planning the next journey for your business. More details in the comments.

Most people aren't stuck. They're just too close to the problem.
When you're in something every single day, perspective is the first thing to go.
What feels complicated is usually just crowded.
Step back.
It's rarely as tangled as it feels from the inside.

You don't need to overhaul your whole life to feel less overwhelmed.
Sometimes you just need someone to help you see what actually matters — and make small, practical shifts from there.
That's exactly what one of my clients, Sian Porter Williams, shared after we worked together:
"She took the time to listen and really understand both my work and family life. Rather than suggesting I completely change the way we live, she respected what was important to us and made thoughtful, practical suggestions that enhanced our day-to-day routines."
Sian didn't need a new system. She needed space to step back, reflect, and think differently about where her time and energy were going.
That's Balance. Not doing less — doing what actually works.
