Over the last 12 months, we've invested heavily behind the scenes in developing a completely bespoke management system built specifically for our business. It has taken hundreds of hours of planning, testing and development, and from Monday, it's finally going live.

Our new CRM and Customer Portal has been designed to give our customers more visibility, faster communication and a smoother experience from the day they enquire until the day their cabin is delivered.

A Challenging Delivery, A Bespoke Solution

This week the Holmcroft Cabins team has been up in beautiful Kilchoan completing the siting and installation of this stunning bespoke cabin.

From the first curved roof frame in our workshop to the finished cabin overlooking the West Coast, this project showcases exactly what we do best — building cabins around our customers’ requirements and finding solutions when challenges arise.

The biggest challenge with this project wasn’t building the cabin, it was getting it there. Due to the access restrictions and difficult haulage route, transporting the cabin as a single unit simply wasn’t an option.

Rather than compromise on the design, we engineered the cabin to be built in two separate sections. Both halves were transported individually before being carefully positioned and professionally connected together on site, allowing the customer to have the cabin they wanted in a location that would otherwise have been impossible to reach.

The result is a spacious, fully insulated luxury cabin complete with kitchen, shower room, modern composite exterior, and a bright open-plan living space.

What makes this project even more impressive is that it was engineered with a removable roof system. Due to access restrictions at the installation site, the cabin had to be designed so the roof could be removed for transportation and then reinstated on site. This allowed our customer to have the cabin they wanted, exactly where they wanted it.
