We can now reveal what sits behind our latest creation and its four bifolding doors.

Completely concealed when not in use, allowing the piece to read as furniture first.

Open the doors and settle in — especially when it’s Sir Jimmy Anderson, “The King of Swing”, England’s leading wicket taker and an all time great.

Considered cabinetry. Thoughtful concealment. Cricket on demand.

A recent project, and something a little different for us.

Four large bifolding doors, designed to completely conceal what sits behind them.

Carefully considered proportions, traditional joinery, and wonderful hardware from . The painted brass faceplate blends quietly into the cabinetry, allowing the piece to read simply as furniture.

And what do those doors conceal?

A classic Georgian composition at first glance.
A larder cupboard. A freestanding prep table. Furniture that feels settled and timeless.

Look again.

Behind the doors sits a full height fridge freezer, completely integrated but quietly hidden from view.

Kitchens do not have to shout about their function. They can feel like part of the architecture of the house. Like furniture that belongs.

Practical where it needs to be. Beautiful everywhere else.

That balance is always the aim.

A recently completed boot room, designed to work hard and feel calm.

Made from British ash – chosen for its beauty, and because supporting the use of native species matters to us. With generous drawer storage for each family member, a bench for kicking off muddy wellies after walks, and a run of Shaker units with a practical sink for everything from boots to smelly dog baths.

Designed for daily life, and made to stand the test of time.

Natural materials, thoughtfully detailed and left to speak for themselves.

A balanced sink run, with the bin to the left and an integrated dishwasher, centred around a Shaws Belfast sink.

The kitchen sits comfortably alongside pieces the clients already love. Their chair, the dresser, and our bespoke prep table bring a softer, more furniture led feel to the space.

Integrating existing furniture into a kitchen adds warmth and familiarity, helping it feel relaxed and lived in, rather than showroom like.

The result is a kitchen that feels settled, lovingly lived in, and built to last.
