This coat and shoe rack was designed to match the shoe storage seat we also completed. The main structure is MDF finished in Mylands Water Based Eggshell and the solid oak components are all constructed using reclaimed oak from the old floorboards that were lifted as part of the wider project! We always like to reuse and recycle where we can (especially when they look this good!)

We replaced the existing baserail and handrail with solid oak and the spindles with primed pine. The existing newel posts were retained and hand painted (along with the spindles) in Mylands Water Based Eggshell. The oak was all finished in Rustins Danish Oil to protect and enhance the look.

A hallway storage seat this time! The main structure is constructed in MDF and hand finished in Mylands Water Based Egghsell. The seat has been made using the original oak floor boards that were removed as part of the project, finished in a hard wearing Osmo Polyx Wax Oil to give it a satin finsh.

Another outdoor project! This ones a custom pergola for a customer in Orston looking for shade an privacy without spoiling the stunning views over the Vale of Belvoir. The use of 3 widths of planed timber with a narrow gap between give privacy without being too imposing. Finished in 2 coats of Cuprinol Garden Shades Slate it should give years of service!

We even do outdoor projects! This ones a custom front garden fence using 3 different widths of planed batten with narrow gaps finished in 2 coats of Cuprinol Garden Shades Slate. LED up down lights were then added on dusk till dawn timers for full automation.

A bathroom?? Not our usual bag but this one completed last winter in Plungar was heavy on the custom joinery so we took it on anyway! The floor is a stunning natural limestone tile from Floors of Stone near Loughborough. The MDF wall panelling, skirting and dado rail give it that "period" look and match perfectly with the shaker style custom bath panel. The woodwork was hand painted in Mylands water based eggshell and the walls in their marble matt emulsion. It was finished off with a few reclaimed timber custom touches including two mirrors, one with integral shelf, matching window sill and even a bath caddy with wine glass and tea light holders!
