It’s sometimes weird what you find inside furniture!! I stripped this sofa yesterday (Monday) so clearly on the wrong day! Has lead me to wondering why this wood was stamped with Tuesday, was it a manufacturing thing (on Mondays we do the seats, Tuesdays the arms, Wednesdays the back etc) or has the wood come from somewhere with it already on there?! Anyway, I’m going to continue pondering whilst I start the upholstery (on a Tuesday).

I returned a pair of button back chairs to their home. They look beautiful and fresh in their new Linwood Fabric - the client chose buttons in pond, which is currently one of my favourite fabrics, and it works really well with buttoned furniture. I’m very excited about this one. I’m passionate about the environment, so creating beautiful items which are as environmentally friendly as possible is really important to me. So I have created this circular pouffe, using only natural fibres, so no nasties. AND IT ALSO STORAGE!!!!

I re-upholstered this chair about a year ago for a client, and he asked if I could make a matching footstool. The footstool went to its home yesterday, and it looks great with its matching chair!!
