A Stag Minstrel bedroom set, given a whole new look ✨

This was a recent project for a client who already owned the 3-drawer chest. I sourced two matching 3-over-2 chests to complete the set 🤍

Sprayed in fusionmineralpaintuk ‘Cashmere’, with the wooden tops bleached and then stained to reduce the red mahogany tones and get a natural wood finish. Then everything was sealed with 3 coats of Polyvine varnish for an ultimate durability.

I love giving good-quality furniture a new lease of life rather than letting it go to waste.👌🏻

My most recent commission piece, delivered to a very happy client earlier this week 🤎

This beautiful oak sideboard was stripped back to remove the old orange finish, then given a soft paint wash using Fusion Mineral Paint UK “Algonquin” to enhance the natural grain while creating a more modern look. I also added decorative bobbin trim to the drawer fronts and polished the original handles to complete the transformation.

This beautiful solid oak sideboard has just arrived in the workshop and is available to reserve for a bespoke makeover ✨

This piece has some truly lovely details. The barley twist legs, decorative scalloped apron and carved frieze running beneath the top all add character and craftsmanship that’s difficult to find in modern furniture. Once refinished, these features will really come into their own, creating a statement piece that feels both timeless and unique.

The current plan is to strip back the existing finish and enhance the stunning oak grain with a warm, earthy stain similar to the ones pictured, along with simple pendant handles. However, if you’d like to reserve it, there is still time to discuss alternative finishes and make it your own. I could also add bobbin trim to the doors & drawers.

A fantastic statement piece with plenty of storage and beautiful period detailing throughout.
