Wowser.
What a way to end this years Chairmaking ‘retreats’.. ( that’s what they seem to have become! )… a proper humdinger. Feeling emotional.

Thankyou .. to those of you who travelled so far, Juliet Alexis Ocón Adela .. or came for the third time, Abbey, Nev and Jon…or for the first! …Simon, Dom , Dan and of course Jim Jim MacAirt

Warmth and connection, and great chairs… well done.👏

Thankyou Paddy and India .m.black_furniture for your assistance, support and good humour.

A strong cake week. 🍰… and firm friendships.

Keep an eye out for next years dates…

Last weeks Chairmaking bonanza! What a productive and energetic group!! Took me days to recover!!

A few beginners made great first time chairs, and then six people came for ‘another go’ including Orlando, who joined me for his sixth Chairmaking week..
Pairs of chairs, benches, Advanced high backs, a ‘Lobster Pot’ from my book.. all of it well executed.
I salute you all!

Thankyou, as usual, to and .m.black_furniture for your kind support and positivity.
