thinkFOUND is a small business that makes custom made tables from the waste product of scaffold boards. We tailor tables to customer’s measurements and have a turnaround of 6 working days. Please visit our website to see our product range www.thinkfound.co.uk
thinkGREEN The wood we use comes from businesses that are getting rid of unwanted wood, which would have otherwise become landfill or burnt. At thinkFOUND, we believe in reusing discarded wood rather than purchasing new timber. The reclaimed scaffolding boards we use are made of European whitewood (sometimes referred to as Silver Fir or Norway Spruce). European whitewood is a straight-grained timber with a thin and regular texture. The wood is a medium density soft wood, low in weight. The strength properties are very high and make it a long lasting, multipurpose wood for load baring uses, hence the use as scaffolding boards. thinkSOCIAL One of our aims for the near future is to work with the council on apprenticeships and back to work schemes. We have in the past worked with young and disadvantaged persons of the borough - offering experience and skills in all areas of the business; design, production, marketing and running of the enterprise. thinkFUTURE Going forward developing our existing partnerships with charities such as Forest Recycling Project (FRP) and creating new ones to progress the circular economy within the borough of Waltham Forest. We genuinely believe in William Morris’s words on Fellowship being the way forward. With this said, thinkFOUND would like to be more than just a business, we would like to develop talent and be a place where not just our business grows, but so do the people we work with. thinkDELIVERY We don't deliver ourselves but we do have two trusted drivers who can help you with deliveries.
