Beautiful day at Stapleford Miniature Railway and a visit from our friend George Sax with some chill out tunes. If you’ve missed today get a wriggle on and visit tomorrow!

After yesterday’s washout, today and Monday looks like it will be a lovely. The miniature tractions are steaming up and the train has just arrived at the station. We have our games out to play again and today we may even have a saxophonist playing some tunes for you from our trailer.
It’s all just off the B676 near melton use Stapleford Miniature Railway in maps. £6 adults, £4 kids on the gate.

Well Kel instructed me to go help load the empty Adams gas bottles whilst it was cool during the eclipse.
I pointed out that at the last big eclipse in 1999 I’d got down on one knee and proposed to her on the beach in hauling island.
She said ‘welcome to marriage’.
Leo said ‘mum, do you think you can take it back on this one’
Toby said ‘ hopefully there won’t be any marriage proposals this time!’
OMG we were Leo’s age at the time! Bu**er we are getting old 😂

Have fun all. Stu, Kel, Leo & Toby.

All set up and chilling out watching the traction engines doing their thing at Rempstone Steam. I’ve not been here for years and forgot how massive it is! Definitely will be worth planning a big day out this weekend and there’s still more turning up! Brill. Loving this excuse for promoting the business 😂. This is what summers are made for.
Stu & Kell. (Time for the b**r tent).

Yesterday was the first day out with the second truck now it’s finally ready. The swing lift (now on the back) I have designed and now need to run it all through testing. First impressions are great. Light but able to do repetitive drops quickly. We can get 6 of our bulk bags on easily and be on weight. The second run also shows the size difference between our bags and the standard builders bags.

Also Toby our youngest has just had prom, arriving on motorbikes (with a couple of laps of the school field 🤦‍♂️). Will be joining us at the yard and doing an Ag spannering course at Brooksby. Really proud to be working now with both my boys. ❤️

Loughborough car show today. Lots of very nice motors. American, Ferrari, VW campers & the cleanest series Landrover I’ve ever seen. Unfortunately no Reliant Robins though ( my favourite 😂 ). Lovely show.

Our Fosse Way Fuels Roadshow is starting to come together.
This is the first test fire of the Stovax Futura 5 stove and it’s perfect! Nice wide view that fits out 35cm logs lovely and the convection design lets us keep safe with everything around it. Really pleased. Thank you Stovax for your help!

We are starting to look round for events around Nottingham, Leicester & Rutland. If anyone knows of any events small or large, please send us a message. Happy to look at shows & fairs but also town, village and school events. Once all the artwork is done on the exterior, it will take up about 8m wide by 4m deep.
Many thanks. Stu, Kelly, Leo & Toby.
