🎨 We are currently looking for a Creative Assistant! 🎨

Full-time | 8.30am–5.30pm | Andover, Hampshire | Start: ASAP

THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Creative Assistant to join our busy creative team.

This is a varied, hands-on role ideal for someone at the beginning of their creative career. You’ll work closely with our designers across artwork, print, bespoke pieces and wall treatments, helping take ideas from concept through to the finished show home.

No two days are quite the same – you could be designing artwork digitally, creating a bespoke piece by hand, sourcing artwork for a new scheme or helping install the finished work on site.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
• Designing and preparing artwork, prints, wallpapers and bespoke pieces
• Assisting with artwork layouts and plans for show home installations
• Working closely with our Creative Designers to source and develop artwork
• Painting and creating large-scale bespoke artwork and murals
• Personalising furniture and producing decals and creative finishes
• Researching new trends, styles and creative techniques
• Preparing, framing and organising artwork ready for installation
• Liaising with suppliers and managing artwork orders
• Attending show home installations throughout the UK, typically 2–3 times per month, and helping bring the finished creative scheme to life on site

ABOUT YOU
You’ll be creative, organised and enthusiastic, with a strong eye for colour, composition, style and detail. You’ll enjoy working in a busy creative environment, be keen to learn and happy to get stuck into both the creative and practical sides of the role.
You’ll be comfortable working independently, but equally important is being a proactive team player who enjoys working with others and supporting the wider team when needed.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
• Confidence using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator and working with AI
• A creative portfolio demonstrating a range of work and processes
• A genuine interest in interiors, art, design and current trends
• Good organisation and communication skills
• SketchUp knowledge is an advantage but not essential
• A full driving licence is preferred but not essential
• Happy to travel to sites throughout the UK, including occasional overnight stays

THINK THIS COULD BE YOU?
We’d love to see your work. Please apply with your CV and creative portfolio to: [email protected]

A glimpse behind the scenes of our bespoke painting process🍋🩵

This painting was created for Windsor Arch, Vistry Thames Valley. The rich backdrop, warm citrus tones and understated still-life composition were developed to complement the room’s palette, bringing personality to the scheme while creating a focal point that feels entirely unique🍸

A few weeks ago we sailed the Solent at the South Coast CPS Annual Regatta. ⛵ South Coast CPS

The weather definitely kept us on our toes, with a full mix of sunshine, wind and rain thrown our way, but with a great team on board we managed a respectable mid finish out of 24 yachts!

We had a brilliant day and a strong team on board from sales, technical, accounts, design, build, planning and marketing across Artspace Interior Design, Croudace Homes and Barratt Homes

We'd highly recommend the event, it's a great way to build relationships, connect, spend the day out at sea - some healthy competition and pick up some sailing techniques along the way! Big thank you to our crew on Sydney 2 (Bob & Tanya) and Lucy Richmond for organising a fantastic day.

This week our Junior Interior Designer, Molly and Junior Creative, Emily led a workshop at the Construct & Create Event, in partnership with Barratt Homes. The students created their own interior design mood boards using paint charts, wallpapers and magazines from our studio ✏️✂️

It was inspiring to see students getting involved in hands-on activities, exploring creative thinking, and gaining insight into future careers.

Artspace are delighted to support an event that highlights the importance of practical learning and industry engagement. It was a brilliant day connecting young people with real opportunities in the industry 🦺🏡

A huge thank you to EBP South, Barratt Homes, Testlands Wellbeing Hub, and everyone involved in organising such a valuable event 😊
