Monday morning (again 🙄)

What did you get up to this weekend?

I don’t go out very often these days but this weekend I met with friends and we dressed up for Halloween. 🎃

Good morning lovely followers!

I’m working on these bedside tables this week.

I plan on giving them a new set of legs as the current ones are a little short (like me 😁).

I have green in my head but I may change my mind depending on my mood.

What do you think?

As you know, I find it hard to resist a freebie piece of furniture.

When I’m working on things I kinda see them with their own little personality (yes I’m a weirdo) and more often than not I give them a name.

I’ve called this piece “Boro Town Centre”.

Because it’s proper rough.

I mean, who did this to her? Look at those dovetail joints 😳

She’s had her cracks filled by someone proper dodgy and god knows what they’ve used.

There’s a moral to this story though cos underneath all that guff there’s a proper solid structure. I just need to peel back the layers.

Anyway, I hated her at first but we’ve had a brew together and I kinda like her now.

Sometimes when you strip away the exterior layers, you find a little gem 💎

💥 Picture of my work slippers for attention (yes I really do work in these every day) other colours are available.

So apparently the Facebook algorithm prefers it when I type posts rather than just pictures.

So it got me thinking….how can I get more views, more followers and more people to buy my furniture?

I’m not one for posting videos of myself like most businesses. Listening to my own voice is just cringy 🤮 I sound like Patty off the Simpsons.

So, from now on I’ll be injecting a little of my personality into my page via written posts to see if that works.

Best buckle up bi***es cos it might be a bumpy ride with my gob and sense of humour 🤣

And so we have another troll 🧌 ❤️

This time on Instagram.

From a private page with a dodgy profile picture.

I’m really not sure but what IS that on their arm?
Best not tell em your name Pyke 🤣 🫟

just_pyke_w incase you were wondering too 🤔

Oooooo it’s official!!!! I have my first furniture troll!! 😍 🧌

This means I’m finally making it in the world of furniture 😂

Most of you will have seen my new piece for sale I posted yesterday with the Union Jack and lion on it.

It amazes me how someone can take a piece of furniture I’ve worked so hard on and turn it into politics 😂

It’s a PIECE OF FURNITURE you MELT.

Just know, if you come for me, you will get it right back.

Also, if you’re going to try and insult my work, at least learn to spell.

Anyhooooo have a lovely weekend little troll 🧌

I’m off to cry into my cornflakes because someone said hurty words to me whilst humming “Isn’t it ironic….don’t you think” by Alanis Morissette….. great tune 😍

Beresford & Hicks of England, manufactured in 1992.

Reimagined by Funky Duck Furniture, this is a bespoke and beautiful piece, truly one of a kind!

It makes a great statement piece for any man cave or bar with its masculine personality.

Although I have removed the provenance stickers as they were not in keeping with its new image, I have photographic evidence and have kept the Quality Inspection sticker to be handed over to its new owner.

The piece has been carefully hand sanded,
undercoated, and painted using Frenchic paint to the body. The legs, shelf, hinges & handles have been given gold detailing.

Decoupage has been added to the top doors, whilst the Union Jack has been hand painted.
I have also added 3 coats of Polyvine Varnish to give it hard wearing durability.

This piece also has a glass shelf to store your glasses etc with its original working light inside. This illuminates automatically when opening the door and plugs in to mains electric.

2 original keys in perfect order, another spare one which is bent but still works.

It also has a pull out glass shelf located at
the middle of the cabinet which is fully functional. There are a couple of very minor scratches on the glass, to be expected with its age.

Viewing is very much welcome and delivery is negotiable depending on your location.

Based in Saltburn-by-the-Sea.

I also take commissions.

Please note the main colour is a beautiful deep purple/blue colour which changes depending on the natural light.

One photograph is Al to show how it could look in the right room.

Price £695
