I had the pleasure of teaching my small group workshop at Westonbirt Arboretum again on Saturday.

I had a blast with this fab group of 8 attendees, who all did a magnificent job learning to weave a footstool with sustainable Seagrass cord.

A sympathetic but complete strip and re build of this very important chair. Belonging to my customers mum, this Lloyd Loom is also an heirloom...

The springs had totally migrated and made it almost unusable, we agreed to replace with elasticated webbing and high quality foam. This will now last and be loved again. The fabric is by Sanderson. ❤️

Some how in 11 years of upholstering, this was my first camper van fit out!!

A totally bespoke made to measure commision for the 'Bumble Bee'🐝

Highest grade upholstery foam and fabric supplied by me, my customer chose this great pale green Christina Marrone fabric thats durable and washable, rather than grey which really brightens the interior.

After my customer had done an excellent job fitting out the whole van himself, I measured up and took templates (they need to mould seamlessly round the wheel arches and sliding door opener) for the cushions that transition from day to night 💤💤💤

All with zips so they can be removed and washed.

The back cushions popper to the side when in use with the longest one even defying gravity by being poppered to the boot door when it's opened right up so it doesn't fall out every time!... It's all these details that make it a professional job.

A quick reel showing the results of a beautiful over-haul of this Ottoman and Victorian Armchair.

I'm in love with this Ross Fabrics Floral Damask in colour sage 💚

I'm particularly fond of the ottoman which I stripped to its frame (I'll do a work in progress video another day) and replaced everything from the inside out, using this beautiful traditional striped cotton mattress ticking for the interior.

As always, another gorgeous group of attendees joined me at Abbey House, Glastonbury Abbey to make their own beautiful Seagrass Footstools on my one-day course.

I absolutely love this venue, which is not open to the public and has an exquisite view of the Abbey ruins from our room overlooking the beautiful gardens.

More dates for 2026 at this venue and all my other venues around the Southwest and Gloucestershire, will be up on my website on my social media as soon as they are secured.
