This is the first time I have built two rocking chairs at the same time. They are both from the same local cherry tree and for two different customers down London way. Some beautiful grain patterns have come out during the sanding and finishing stage.
Also added a new feature to these chairs which will be on all my chairs from now on, my wife has learned how to do letter carving and carves the year on the underside of the seat. Now in 300 years time people will know when it was made (will there still be humans in 300 years?!).
