Maggie’s dog bed is becoming quite the heritage craft project.
I’ve always had a fascination with traditional crafts and the people who dedicate their lives to mastering them, so I’m making the most of this project to explore a few along the way.
This time I’m visiting my fellow The Repair Shop expert Sarah Hatton of , who grows her very own willow and creates beautiful handwoven pieces.
We explore her willow field and workshop before getting down to designing the woven base for Maggie’s bespoke bed.
Two traditional crafts coming together, and plenty to learn along the way.
