A little more from our DIY SOS project… ✨

Now that we can finally share the finished home from DIY SOS Southampton – Ahmed & Rifat’s Fresh Start, we wanted to show you one of the beautiful bedrooms we had the pleasure of creating the soft furnishings for.

This stunning shaped headboard and coordinating cushions were all made by Neat-House Interiors, with the headboard upholstered by our in-house upholsterer.

The curved shape of the headboard creates a beautiful focal point in the room, while the coordinating cushions bring the fabric and colours through the scheme, creating a really cohesive finish.

As with everything we make, it’s all about the detail — from creating the shaped headboard to carefully upholstering it and finishing every element by hand.

We love how beautifully this room came together. ❤️

And now that the big reveal has happened, we’re delighted to finally be able to show you some of the craftsmanship that went into this very special project.

Bespoke headboards, cushions and soft furnishings, made in our Hampshire workroom.

WE CAN FINALLY SHOW YOU! 😭❤️

After more than a year of waiting, we finally got to see DIY SOS Southampton – Ahmed & Rifat’s Fresh Start on BBC One tonight.

And what an incredible experience it was to be part of.

We were incredibly proud to donate our time and craftsmanship to create the soft furnishings throughout the home.

From the curtains and Roman blinds to the cushions, headboards and bench seating, every piece was made by our team here at Neat-House Interiors in Otterbourne, Hampshire.

And we couldn’t have done it without the generosity of Linwood, who donated all of the beautiful fabrics for the project.

Seeing everything finally come together was incredibly special.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this project happen — and most importantly, we hope Ahmed & Rifat enjoy their beautiful new home for many years to come. ❤️

We’d love to know what you thought of the transformation!

A very special thank you to Linwood ❤️

A project like this is never about one business.

We were incredibly proud to donate our time and craftsmanship to make all of the soft furnishings for the DIY SOS project, but we couldn’t have created them without the beautiful fabrics.

Our wonderful supplier Linwood generously donated all of the fabrics for the project, allowing us to create the curtains, Roman blinds, cushions, headboards and bench seating for the home.

We’re incredibly grateful for their generosity and support.

It was a real pleasure to work with such beautiful fabrics — and we can’t wait for you to see how they were used.

☀️ Beautiful spaces deserve beautiful solutions.

This stunning, light-filled sunroom is the perfect example of how carefully considered window shading can transform a space.

In the video, our fitter Simon explains how this solar-charged pleated blind works — providing effortless control over sunlight, glare and heat, while keeping the clean, elegant feel of the room.

For rooms with extensive glazing, roof windows and conservatories, bespoke shading isn’t simply about keeping the sun out. It’s about comfort, practicality and beautiful design working together.

At Neat-House Interiors, we design and install bespoke solutions including:

• Roof blinds & roof glazing
• Motorised blinds
• Solar-powered blinds
• Conservatory blinds
• Made-to-measure pleated blinds
• Bespoke shading for challenging spaces

And whilst summer might feel a long way away, now is the perfect time to start planning for next year. 🌿

If your conservatory, orangery or sunroom becomes too hot to enjoy during the warmer months, let’s make sure it’s ready for next summer.

Designed beautifully. Made to measure. Installed with care.

All packed up and ready to go!

We’ve just completed a mammoth job of 80+ cushions in various sizes and fabrics which will be heading to Falmouth this weekend to then be loaded onto a wonderful yacht. All ready for a summer in the med!!

I am BEYOND excited about this vanity unit!

After searching for a while for someone who could make a piece for my client, I came across via a reel that I had seen on Instagram. From the moment I contacted Danton I knew he was the person! Attention to detail, quick to respond, easy to talk to, and oh my goodness isn’t she beautiful!!!

So, next week I will be driving all the way to Nottingham, via Birmingham (dropping Hamish for a football thing at St George’s Park) to collect this beauty. So watch this space after Easter to see the finished scheme! My first bathroom design, and I hope it will become one of many in the future.
